Photographer and filmmaker, Valérie Jouve tirelessly travels through inhabited spaces. As an observer of the landscape and of humans, she captures a singular space at a particular time, questioning our way of looking at things and of perceiving them. Each image is built around the notion of encounter between bodies, whether they are individuals, architectures or landscape elements. It is a moving and shared space that the artist brings to light. She considers the hanging of her works as a way to produce a movement born from the coexistence of images and to stimulate an intuitive relationship with the viewer.

On the occasion of the release of her new monograph, she is the guest of the Centre national des arts plastiques, for an exceptional meeting with Pascal Beausse, Morad Montazami and Michel Poivert.

Her film Time is Working Around Rotterdam (2006), 40', will also be shown in a loop.
