Each year, Paris Photo presents a series of Conversations across the four days of the fair, bringing together artists, curators, critics and leading figures from the art world.

About
In 2026, the programme will feature major figures in contemporary photography, including Thomas Ruff, Thomas Demand and Zanele Muholi, alongside image theorists such as Tina Campt and Arno Gisinger. A session entitled Three Friends, Three Perspectives will also explore the work of Robert Adams. Collecting and its challenges will be at the heart of the conversation Is the Future of Collecting Female? Other sessions will examine how photography bears witness to conflict and its aftermath, while several performances will extend the discussions beyond the traditional conversation format.
The Conversations will take place on the first floor of the Grand Palais, with four one-hour sessions each day.
