The Deutsche Börse Photography Foundation invites you to engage with “Face to Face” – a curated selection of around 25 portraits from its internationally renowned collection of contemporary photography, each offering an insight into the diversity, complexity, and affectability of the human experience. From quiet, intimate studies to powerful social commentary, the works displayed span continents, cultures, and generations – reflecting the wide range of the Foundation’s collecting since 1999, from celebrated figures to emergent, lesser-known voices while spotlighting two recent acquisitions by Hoda Afshar and Aida Silvestri.
