L’association Le Cancer du Sein, Parlons-en !

Since 1992, at the initiative of Evelyn H. Lauder, then Senior Vice-President of the eponymous cosmetics group, each October an awareness campaign is held on the importance of early detection of breast cancer. Over the years, the Pink Ribbon has become the symbol of the fight against cancer. In France, this campaign has been led by l’Association cancer du sein, Parlons-en !, founded in 1994 by Groupe Estée Lauder France and Marie Claire magazine.

In 2004, the Association launched the first call for entries for its Pink Ribbon Award. Today, thanks to individual donations and the support of its different partners, it has raised over 2 million euros for research against breast cancer.
