Noé Znidarsic is a Belgian visual artist born in Brussels in 2002. After graduating from Septantecinq, he is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Visual Arts at KASK School of Arts.

His practice unfolds through long-term projects rooted in close relationships and intimate contexts. He is currently developing an ongoing body of work centred on his relationship with his friend Héloïse, who lives with anorexia, exploring how the illness has shaped their bond over time.

The project

ALL CHILDREN GROW UP traces the relationship between Noé Znidarsic and his friend Héloïse, who lives with anorexia. What began as a way of spending time together during an eight-month stay at an eating disorder treatment centre gradually evolved into a space where their relationship could continue to exist and transform.

Over the years, these photographs have become an archive shaped by the presence of the illness and its impact on their everyday lives. Photography became a way of remembering moments of joy as well as hardship, while witnessing the gradual transformation of someone deeply loved.

Anorexia permeates every aspect of the work, shaping not only the lives of those who experience it but also those around them. Rather than illustrating the disorder, the project offers an intimate perspective that seeks to move beyond its common stereotypes. Viewers are invited to navigate moments of fragility, hope, recovery and shared time.
