My artistic practice explores relationships, family, and emotional experience.

Studied Applied Graphics across bookbinding, design, illustration and photography, shaping narrative and material approach.

My BA project, artist’s book on motherhood, explored maternal experience: guilt, illness, identity.

Published by Kaunas Photography Gallery and shortlisted for Arles Dummy Book Award.

After my grandmother’s death, worked with inherited objects, reflecting on identity, memory and loss.

The project

I stand in a room. Objects remain, and I stand among them. Dust moves in window light, briefly alive and vivid, then grey again. Yellow particles stay on my fingers—pollen from a garden I cannot see. Inside, honey appears on surfaces, moves, and mixes with dust. The boundary between inside and outside is unstable.

After my grandmother’s death, her house becomes the site of this project—an archive and material environment where grief unfolds through objects and their disappearance.

The question is how matter persists after a person, shifting from functional to emotional, from stable to circulating. Attention shifts from object networks (Latour) to dust as residue of body–object–space relations.

The exhibition consists of a book of 1500 objects that can be removed until it disappears, an installation of wax- and honey-covered photographs, and a video-sound work of dust, pollen, and enumeration.

Grief is a material process.
