Based in Mexico, Lake Verea is an artistic duo formed by Francisca Rivero-Lake and Carla Verea. They have been collaborating since 2005 and are known for their experimental approach to photography and architecture.
Lake Verea's technique is characterized by their use of expanded photography, analogue techniques, experimentation with formats, conceptual photography, a spontaneous approach, emotional interpretation of spaces, and archival explorations.
