Annabelle Lacour is Head of photographic collections at the musée du quai Branly-Jacques-Chirac. She is co-curator of the exhibition Ouvrir l'album du monde, Photographies 1842-1911 (musée du quai Branly-Jacques Chirac, April 2023) and co-director of the associated publication Mondes photographiques, histoires des débuts. She helped curating the exhibition Ouvrir l'album du monde Photographies 1842-1896 (Louvre Abu Dhabi, 2019) and Garden of the East, photography in Indonesia 1850s-1940s (National Gallery of Australia, 2014). She coordinates the Photography award of the musée du quai-Branly Jacques Chirac, for which she is a member of the jury that selects the winners. At the Centre Pompidou-Metz from 2014 to 2016, then at Agence France-Muséums from 2016 to 2018, she has contributed to the design and coordination of numerous exhibitions.
