CAMERA AS RELEASE
Photographer as Performer in the JPMorgan Chase Art Collection
J.P. Morgan returns to Paris Photo with a selection of photographs from its own JPMorgan Chase Art Collection, celebrating this year its 55th anniversary.
The selection chosen by Lisa K. Erf, Director and Curator of the collection, will include photographic works offering a panoramic look at five decades of acquisitions by one of the world’s largest corporate collections.
The JPMorgan Chase Art Collection, created in 1959 by David Rockefeller, has more than 30,000 works of art on display in 450 offices worldwide. With more than 6,000 photographs or photography-based works, both historical and contemporary, the collection has always emphasized photography.
Exhibition presented on the 1st floor in the Salon d’Honneur at the Grand Palais.
