Call for entries: 2015 BMW Residency at musée Nièpce

BMW and the musée Nicéphore Niépce organize the fifth edition of the Résidence BMW, allowing for a young artist using photography to work for three months at the museum in Chalon-sur-Saône.

After Alexandra Catiere, Marion Gronier, Mazaccio & Drowilal and Natasha Caruana, François Cheval, chief curator and his team will welcome the new laureate between September 7 and November 27, 2015.

BMW has been supporting photography since 2003, as a partner of Paris Photo and the Rencontres d’Arles. In 2011 this engagement takes a step further with the creation of the BMW Residency at the musée Niépce. A selection of the images produced during the résidence will be exposed at the Rencontres d’Arles and during Paris Photo at the Grand Palais.

Besides his hosting by the museum, the laureate will also be granted the sum of 6,000 euros, and a monograph of his work will be published with the help of the Editions Trocadero.

Submissions are accepted by post only before April, 15, 2015.

The Laureate will be announced during the first week of the Rencontres d’Arles
